At SHINE Collab, we are walking alongside young women and gender-diverse people to collectively reimagine what a just energy transition truly means. Too often, critical conversations on climate justice, energy systems, and loss and damage happen in spaces where those most impacted—especially from rural and frontline communities—are absent. This exclusion not only silences vital voices, but erodes the foundations of justice itself.

In response, we are cultivating spaces for youth—particularly young women—to step into their power, engage in political dialogue, and shape the processes that directly affect their futures. We believe in building from the ground up, where each rural community has the right and the knowledge to define their own vision of a just transition.
