24 Hours That Made Women’s Invisible Work Visible

Women participating in the Artisanal Mining and Critical Minerals Gathering mapped a full 24 hours of their lives, documenting time spent on mining, farming, childcare, household work, food preparation, community responsibilities and rest. The exercise made visible how livelihoods and unpaid care are intertwined—and why women’s time and care responsibilities matter when designing just transition processes.
