At the Artisanal Mining and Critical Minerals Gathering, 26 women and 4 men examined the realities facing women in artisanal mining and critical mineral contexts. Participants moved beyond identifying challenges to outline priorities for continued action, including safer working conditions, fair market access, recognition of artisanal miners, an Artisanal Mining Position Paper and Feminist Accountability Labs.
